A determined college student with dreams of success, battles the grip of substance abuse that threatens to derail her aspirations. In a pivotal moment, she decides to embark on a journey to reclaim her life through the path of recovery.

The American Pavilion had conducted a competition for Instagram Reels where alumni or prospective applicants made a reel describing their time as a AMPAV alum. The selected winner has a chance to attend the 2024 Cannes Film Festival free of charge.

Amidst a devastating virus that has decimated nearly all life, a young boy is thrust into the heart of this apocalyptic world. With his mother's life tragically cut short and an absent father, he grapples with the harsh realities of survival. In his quest to cope, he discovers a means to preserve his childhood innocence amid the bleakness of his circumstances. This project for my editing class was refreshingly straightforward, thanks to the director's approach, which allowed the editor to readily grasp the storyline. Even in the absence of the director's script, the narrative was crystal clear and easy to understand.

In the summer of 2017, I had the privilege of taking part in a high school film program where I successfully created two films: a short film and a narrative piece. This experience significantly enhanced my filmmaking abilities, and I also utilized these videos as part of my college application submissions.

A student aspires to attend college, but the stresses of school discourage him but he soon realizes he will get through it. This was one of the two films I created during a high school film program at Five Towns College.
